FACULTY RESEARCH YEAR

PURPOSE & SCOPE:

To provide either or both: 1) up to a two-course reduction in teaching load for the year; 2) release from all committee and new student advising assignments and release from all departmental assignments except teaching.

PERSONS ELIGIBLE:

Full-time tenure-track and full-time Teaching Associates with at least three years of service at Roanoke College.

APPLY TO: Faculty Development Committee

APPLICATION DEADLINE: October 1 for the following academic year.

A written report must be submitted to FDC within the first six weeks of the regular semester following use of funds.
