- Jennifer J. WisemanPhD, the Senior Project Scientist for the Hubble Space Telescope  
"Seeing What Had Never Been Seen Before: the Revelations of the Hubble Space Telescope"
While pursuing her bachelor's degree in physics at MIT, Jennifer Wiseman discovered the comet Wiseman-Skiff. After earning her PhD in astronomy at Harvard, she was a Jansky Fellow at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory and a Hubble Fellow at Johns Hopkins University. Her work has led to heading the Laboratory for Exoplanets and Stellar Astrophysics at NASA, serving as the president of the American Scientific Affiliation, and now as the Senior Project Scientist for the Hubble Space Telescope. Her time on campus is sponsored by the Benne Center for Religion and Society.

The lecture will be held in Olin Theatre on the Roanoke College campus at 7:30pm
