Roanoke College

ebilling

Back

Beginning Summer and Fall 2010, Roanoke College's Business Office will present students' billing electronically in MyRoanoke instead of printing and mailing statements home.  We hope this will be more convenient than conventional paper bills.  eBilling will be more accessible for students and meets the expectations of families today as they manage most of their bills online.  It is also our way of contributing to the campus wide green initiatives.

Students will be notified by email message or notification when they have a statement ready for review.  The statement will continue to have the same look as our current format.  It will be a pdf document that can be downloaded, saved to a folder, or sent as an attachment to parents if desired.  If a paper copy is needed, students have the option of printing at any time. The college often hears about the needs of families today to have billing sent to more than one parent or other third parties that might be helping with tuition.  Due to FERPA restrictions our office cannot always fulfill those requests without the student's permission but this will allow them to have that ability at their fingertips.  It is very important that parent address and email be updated in our system as these are used for many campus communications.  Students can do this at the Registrar's Office webpage online.

Online payments for student accounts other than deposits will be done in WebAdvisor.  Students are able to grant parent access to their WebAdvisor if desired.   However with the time frame for payments, often students are home prior to due dates.

Deposits may be paid from the Roanoke College website on the Business Office page -> Select Student Accounts/CR -> Click on Deposit - Returning Students.  The 7 digit student ID/account number will be needed to enter.

Roanoke College continues to accept all four types of credit/debit cards along with the option of eCheck transactions online.  Check payments may be also mailed in to our office.  As the college meets stricter PCI DSS compliance for credit card information, we encourage families to use the online area to do credit card payments.

We thank you for your support of our new process.  If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to contact our office at (540) 375-2255 or toll free (877) 826-9356.
