CLT Workshops

Study Skills workshops have changed to: "Your Own Workshops!"

Instead of your usual group format, we have changed our study skills workshops to better meet our students' needs.  Instead, if you would like help/instruction in any of the following areas, please make an appointment to see Barbara Awbrey by calling 375-2247.  You may bring a friend or two!

Click this link to see the Power Point presentations.

Topics Include:

  • Reading is not studying (how to study more effectively);
  • Time Management (planning for the whole semester);
  • Test-taking strategies;
  • Mnemonics (memory) techniques;
  • Understanding Test Anxiety
