Roanoke College

Disability Support Services

Back

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to visit Roanoke College prior to their acceptance of admission.  A personal visit enables the student and college representatives to meet and determine how the college can accommodate the student’s physical and learning needs.  Individuals with disabilities that affect access to campus facilities should contact the Director of Campus Safety.  The Director of Campus Safety serves as the Section 504 Coordinator and can be contacted at 149A Bowman Hall or at (540) 375-2311.

Students with disabilities who are requesting academic accommodations should send a copy of current documentation to the Coordinator of Disability Support Services in the Goode-Pasfield Center for Learning and Teaching in Fintel Library.

Reasonable accommodations will be provided after the documentation has been received and reviewed by the Coordinator of Disability Support Services.  All requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.  Students are encouraged to submit their documentation to the Office of Disability Support Services shortly after being admitted to the college.  To contact us:
