"The Information Technology students who have helped us in Campus Safety have been a life saver more than once. We could not have been successful during check in without them. They came to campus safety and helped move us over and then made sure we were set up and ready to go before they left us. At the end of check-in the students returned to move us back to Bowman and again made sure we were working before they left us. Our ability to serve the students and staff would be greatly diminished without the support and professionalism of your staff. I would also like to add that when we have needed help and called information technology the students who take the calls are also extremely knowledgeable and professional."

"I had a wonderful experience with your IT staff. My home computer had a virus and I asked one of the IT student to come out to my home to see if he could fix our computer. He came the next day, took a quick look and asked if he could take it back to campus to work on it. Within a matter of a few hours, he was back at my house and we were back up and running. He was extremely knowledgably and share tips with us on how to prevent this from happening to our computer again. He was polite, prompt and a delight to meet. His prices were extremely reasonable. Thanks for a wonderful staff of students who are well trained! I would highly recommend your student workers."

When I was hired as the Coordinator of Alumni and Parent Relations, she set up a meeting to come by and help me become familiar with the new operating system. She showed me an amazing amount of technology in a very short time and had the patience to let me do the different short cuts and program usage tools 'hands on'. I tend to learn much quicker that way. Amanda and all the other workers with the 'HelpDesk' and the students that come around to solve other computer problems and installations are an excellent resource here at Roanoke College!"

"As you know, we are always very pleased with how the IT students are always courteous and helpful. They are willing to find an answer if they don't know an answer to a question that we have and are always prompt in responding to us. We depend upon technology to keep our department moving each and every day! I know that if I have an issue that needs addressed immediately, that I can call and have a resolution quickly.
Amanda Grant did a fabulous job at doing phone training with our staff of 10 people. She was professional, knowledgeable and also funny. She displayed the ability to make 10 folks who could have been apprehensive about learning a new phone system to feel comfortable to ask questions and communicate with us very well.
The techs that come to our office are also very courteous and friendly. For some students, it is not easy to take a role and step into offices and communicate with staff about issues that they are having. IT does a great job at preparing their students on how to handle those situations and also to prepare them for the real world. They really have a great group of student assistants."
