Located in central Seoul, South Korea, Ewha Womans University is considered to be one of the most prestigious universities in Korea. Over the last 123 years, Ewha has pioneered the Korean education field. It has made remarkable developments throughout the years to become the largest women's university in the world. Some of the strongest fields at Ewha include international studies, information technology, design technology, Women's Studies, Korean studies, North Korean studies, and Asian studies. Many of these courses are offered in English. In addition, most divisions of the university offer at least 30% of major courses taught in English. Although traditionally a women's university, Ewha Womans University is open to male and female international students. About 30% of all international students are male.
All financial aid that Roanoke College students receive is portable during their study abroad. The cost of tuition is paid directly to Roanoke College.
