University of East Anglia (UEA) is one of the leading universities in England. UEA has a bilateral exchange with Roanoke--students enroll there as full time international students and take classes with UK and other international students. UEA courses in English, history, drama and film are taken in the School of English and American Studies. Departments open to Roanoke College students include biology, psychology, sociology and many others. Students may select semester or academic year options through this program, however, students should note that the assessment period for some courses is in late May/early June regardless of which semester you attend. UEA has a modern campus in Norwich, a historic city located two hours from London. The Sainsbury art collection is a world-renowned museum of modern art on the campus.
