Senior Class Tributes - in honor of family, friends or loved ones - for the Commencement Program on Monday, April 14, 2014.
What is the Senior Class Gift Program?
A way for all graduating seniors to leave behind a lasting legacy for their class while taking their first steps towards being proud alumni. Your gift will benefit the Roanoke Fund - the yearly giving program that supports the College's most critical needs. Just as seniors before you, your one gift, when combined with your classmates, will provide future generations of Maroons with the same advantages that you enjoyed during your four years at Roanoke.
What are the fundraising goals for the Class of 2014?
The Goal for the Class of 2014 is 50% participation. Participation means how many seniors make a gift. That is, given approximately 450 graduates, 225 seniors will need to make a gift to the Senior Class Gift Program so we can reach 50%. Although there is no dollar fundraising goal for the Class of 2014, thanks to a Senior Challenge gift by senior parents, all gifts, of any size, will be matched dollar for dollar! For example, your gift of $20.14 would equal $40.28 or $10.14 would equal $20.28, and so on.
Are there any special opportunities for the Class of 2014
YES! The Class of 2014 can join Young Associates (a leadership giving circle for graduates of the last decade) at a reduced membership rate of $50 (usually $100); and if they designate their gift to athletics, they can also become a Maroon Club member!
