Roanoke College Choir: Lessons and Carols XXIX

For the 29th consecutive year, the Roanoke College Choir and Oriana Singers will present this unofficial opening to the Christmas season in the Roanoke Valley.  The choirs will sing arrangements of favorite carols, new compositions and will lead the congregation in the singing of familiar Advent and Christmas Carols.  St. Andrew's own Kelly Wheelbarger will be organist.  As is our tradition, an offering will be taken to support Roanoke Area Ministries.

The Roanoke College Choir, orchestra and soloists, led by soprano Elizabeth Futral, present Messiah Part I (and "Hallelujah Chorus") in the splendor of St. Andrew's.  In addition, the Oriana Singers, orchestra and soloists will sing Antonio Vivaldi's festive Gloria in its rarely heard treble version.  Conducted by Jeffrey Sandborg.
