Biology

The Department of Biology offers a comprehensive program of study consisting of five required courses together with a minimum of four other core courses for both the B.A. and the B.S. A minor in Biology requires six units of biology coursework. All students are encouraged to choose additional courses to tailor their program to their individual needs.

Environment Program

The Department is also home to the Environment Program, which offers two interdisciplinary majors focused on environmental challenges. Students may seek either a B.A. in Environmental Policy or a B.S. in Environmental Science. Questions regarding the Environment Program should be directed to Dr. Jon Cawley, Coordinator of the Environment Program.
