Traditional internships, while valuable, usually involve on-the-job training assignments, but some Roanoke internships incorporate a strong research component.

During the past few years, Roanoke College Biology students have performed internships at biotechnology companies such as Novozymes, hospitals such as Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, chiropractors, doctor offices, and zoos such as Mill Mountain Zoo.

The application for an Internship in Biology can be found here.
