About the Program
Information Systems uses the tools, techniques and concepts of various disciplines such as computer science, management science and organizational behavior in determining the needs of an organizational. These resources are applied with computer technology to find a solution to a wide range of business problems.
A concentration in Business Information Systems (BIS) is achieved by completion of the following program with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0: Business Administration 218, 328, 338, 368, 438 plus one course selected from CPSC 310, 340, 365, 415, 416 or Business Administration 416. Admission to the concentration requires an overall grade point average of 2.0 and a 2.0 grade point average in all courses that are prerequisites to concentration courses.
