Alpha Kappa Psi

A nationally recognized professional business fraternity, the Nu Tau Chapter of Roanoke College was founded in 1991. Membership to Alpha Kappa Psi is available to students majoring in Business Administration or Economics. The organization holds weekly meetings, consisting of business oriented speakers, social gatherings, and tours of local businesses. This organization creates great networks between students and local businesses.

Delta Mu Delta

This national honor society in Business Administration recognizes superior academic achievements of majors in business and management programs. The student must have an overall grade point average of at least 3.25 and be in the top 20% of his or her class.

Economics Clubs

Omicron Delta Epsilon

This national economics honor society is open to economics majors with excellent academic standing. The student must have an overall grade point average of at least 3.0 and at least a 3.0 grade point average in Economics with four or more economics courses.

Ambassador Robinson keeps doing it all

Ambassador Robinson keeps doing it all

Robinson has had a lot of callings. The Eagle Scout and economics major served in the U.S. Army and the administrations of Presidents Dwight Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan. As special advisor to Secretary of State George Schultz, he was named “Ambassador” in 1983. Now he is launching a new career, planning a book, and heading up a national organization.
