Center for Leadership and Entrepreneurial Innovation
A cutting-edge business education in the 21st century requires more than a traditional emphasis placed on management techniques. Rather, it requires additional focus on the development and application of sound leadership principles. In today’s competitive and complex workplace, organizations that prosper are those that exemplify leadership at all levels of organization. Roanoke College’s Business Department concentration in Leadership, rare on the undergraduate level, provides its students with the necessary foundations in critical thinking skills and leadership principles to become successful ethical leaders in a wide variety of organizational settings.
In order to establish Roanoke College as a model for education in business leadership and innovation, the Center for Leadership and Entrepreneurial Innovation focuses on two primary initiatives: an academic concentration in Leadership and a unique alliance with Roanoke Valley business leaders to further instill entrepreneurship and innovation throughout the Roanoke College business curriculum.
