The Center for Leadership and Entrepreneurship (CLEI) is the directing body of the Roanoke College Innovation Challenge (RCIC). Every year the CLEI develops three challenges for the RCIC, and recruits Roanoke students to meet these challenges. The CLEI provides opportunities for business and economics students to help them build connections with businesses of the Roanoke Valley.
Robinson has had a lot of callings. The Eagle Scout and economics major served in the U.S. Army and the administrations of Presidents Dwight Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan. As special advisor to Secretary of State George Schultz, he was named “Ambassador” in 1983. Now he is launching a new career, planning a book, and heading up a national organization.
