Current Professional Interests
Stephanie Livingston received her B.S. in chemistry from George Fox University in 2003 and completed her Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from the University of Vermont in summer 2009. Her research has involved studying vanadium oxide catalysts supported on mesoporous silica that are capable of degrading chemical warfare agent analogues into nontoxic products and developing a method to encapsulate molecules in porous silica that can be released under specific conditions.

Science Giants
Roanoke College enjoys a proud tradition of excellence in science that extends from the latter part of the 19th century to the present.
