Minor in Secondary Education

For those who do not wish to teach professionally, and do not need the licensure afforded by our Collegiate Professional license program, Roanoke College offers the minor.

For those interested in the art and science of effective teaching, the minor provides an excellent overview of pedagogical research, concepts, and practices.

Courses: EDUC 210, 221, 242, *338, 345, 351, and TESL 220 OR 221.

*EDUC 338 is an internship in education and requires that you have an overall 2.5 GPA and have passed the VCLA and PCASE Math tests. Tests are offered locally.
