Faculty & Staff

Roanoke's English faculty are committed to working with students and remaining accessible. Through a variety of types of writing, scholarly work and teaching styles, students are exposed to different ways to approach writing and the study of English. In addition to being literary scholars, the English faculty write in all four major genres - fiction, poetry, drama and creative nonfiction. Many students come to the program with a desire to become writers, and the opportunity to work with faculty who are practicing authors is invaluable.
