Concert Choir

The Roanoke College Choir is the principal performing and touring ensemble of the College. Comprising 50 auditioned singers, members of the Choir represent every academic discipline on campus. The Choir is widely recognized for its versatility, innovative programming and beautiful sound. The College Choir presents concerts of sacred and secular music throughout the year. The group devotes itself to a serious study of the finest choral literature, and the highest possible standards are maintained. The choir frequently tours to locations both domestic and abroad. Recent destinations have included Italy, France, Hungary, Slovakia, Germany and the Czech Republic. Academic credit is available.

A two-month-long restoration project has returned The Solar Wind, a sculpture by internationally-renowned sculptor Alice Aycock, to its gleaming, otherworldly splendor.
