Linguistics Course Descriptions

A major in linguistics is not offered at Roanoke College. Linguistics 320 may count toward a modern language major or minor, or as an elective in the English major.

320 Basic Linguistics
The scientific study and description of language according to the principles of modern linguistics. (1)
Lecture: 3 hrs/wk.
