	Italian Italian is offered to the 301 level only. Courses in Italian
	Chinese (Mandarin) Chinese is offered to the 202 level only. Courses in Chinese
	Russian Russian is offered to the 202 level only. Courses in Russian
	Japanese Japanese is offered to the 202 level only. Courses in Japanese
	Competency Standards By meeting certain competency standards, students are excused from taking some courses to satisfy the General Education requirements. Please click here for important information regarding competency evaluation in the Modern Languages Department.
