The lab was created with two goals: 1) to promote experimental research at Roanoke College, and 2) to create a collaborative environment where undergraduates can learn all phases of conducting research. Students participating in the lab assist in the research process and are encouraged to design and carry out their own studies. The lab is a collaborative effort, where students are expected to contribute to each other's research projects. These collaborations often lead to posters and/or papers presentation at professional conferences.
