Roanoke College in Germany
Students have the opportunity to study in Wittenberg, Germany with Dr. Rob Willingham from Roanoke College, and other German professors. The program will examine the experience of modern Germany from the Lutheran Reformation to the reunification of Germany after the opening of the Berlin Wall in 1989.
Ethics Bowl
The Ethics Bowl is a state-wide contest where students compete in giving solutions to ethical dilemmas presented in case studies.
Zeno Contest
The Zeno Contest is a critical thinking contest sponsored by the Religion and Philosophy Department every year in the first part of the spring semester.
Undergraduate Research Assistants Program (URAP)
URAP is a program unique to Roanoke College where students work as research assistants with a member of the Roanoke College faculty on an original research project of interest to both the URAP scholar and to the faculty mentor.
May Term
May Term is approximately a three week period during which students can participate in a wide array of Intensive Learning opportunities, including travel courses as well as on-campus courses.
