Summer Session students are subject to the same academic and conduct regulations that apply to students enrolled during the regular term. Regular class attendance is expected in all courses. Instructors having specific attendance requirements will state these on the syllabus (class policy statement) provided at the beginning of each course. Students are accountable for any work missed because of class absence. Instructors are not obligated to make special arrangements.
Degree candidates may be subject to academic warning or suspension as a result of Summer Session grades. Alternatively, students may improve their academic standing as a result of grades earned during the Summer Session. Information on academic warning and suspension policies are available in the Registrar's Office and on our webpage at www.roanoke.edu.
Students completing all degree requirements for graduation during the Summer Session receive their diplomas by mail.
