Financial Aid Dates and Deadlines

2009-2010 Prospective and Transfer Students

January 2009	Complete 2009/2010 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) in order to be eligible for federal funds or need based funds.
May 2009	Deadline to deposit for fall term 2009. Your deposit is your confirmation you will be attending Roanoke College.
June 2009	Complete Stafford Loan counseling and/or Perkins Loan counseling online if you have been awarded these loans. Loan funds will not be applied to student's account until counseling is completed.
July 2009	2009 fall term bills mailed to students by the Business Office.
July 31, 2009	STRICT DEADLINE - ALL STUDENTS AWARDED TUITION ASSISTANCE GRANT MUST HAVE THE APPLICATION IN THE ROANOKE COLLEGE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE BY JULY 31.
August 2009	Payment of the student's Fall 2009 tuition balance is due in the Business Office.
November 2009	Bills for spring term 2010 mailed to students upon pre-registration.
December 2009	Payment for spring term 2010 due to the Business Office.
