Roanoke College Alumni Golf Tournament
100 Years of Roanoke College Basketball
Lunch: 11:00 a.m.
Shotgun Start: 12:00 noon
Roanoke Country Club
Entry fee $125 per player ($500 per team)
Get your team of four together & challenge members of four different coaching eras of Roanoke College Basketball. There will be Buddy Hackman (1967 & prior), Charlie Moir (1968-76), Ed Green (1977-89), & Page Moir (1990-present) flights available by your graduating class. Sign up for your flight & give your era pride! If your group posts the lowest score, you win a great prize! For the era that posts a combined low score, each participant will receive a prize package! We will have silent auction items available, so prepare your bid. There also will be prizes for straightest drive, closest to the pin, & longest drive, & a 50/50 raffle on every par three! All alumni are encouraged to answer the call. This will be a Captain's Choice format with lunch & snacks available before the tournament. Enjoy a scenic float & paddle the James River. Return to campus in time for the Alumni Picnic on the Athletic Quad. Be sure to bring a towel, shoes that can get wet, & sunscreen. Voice recital featuring Roanoke College alumna Sarah Dyson '03, soprano, assisted by Roanoke College faculty member Gordon Marsh in a program of music by Aaron Copland, André Previn, & Leonard Bernstein, with new works by Darius Jones, Gordon Marsh, & Robert Pannell '03. Lyric soprano Sarah Dyson holds an MM in Vocal Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she performed as Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro & in the title role of Suor Angelica. She recently performed Micaëla in an adaptation of Bizet's Carmen with the Bay View Music Festival.

The Roanoke College Children's Choir, under the direction of Kimberly Ruse Davidson, will present its 26th spring concert.
