SALEM, Va. - Roanoke College will feature works from artists Russ Havard, University of Virginia professor Richard Crozier and Edward Thomas in Olin and Smoyer Galleries. The exhibit will be held from September 7 - October 12. The galleries are open daily from 1 - 4 p.m. For more information, please call (540) 375-2332. The opening reception on Friday, September 7 at 6 p.m. in Smoyer Gallery includes a presentation of urban and rural landscape paintings from Crozier and Thomas.
Both Crozier and Thomas are from Charlottesville. Havard, of Austin, Texas, will present constructed 3-D water paintings in Olin Gallery on Thursday, September 6. Lectures about the works will be given on Thursday, September 6 at 5 p.m. and Friday, September 7 at 5:30 p.m.
