Roanoke College to bring rapper Big Sean to Salem
SALEM, Va. - Calling hip hop and rap fans.
Def Jam and G.O.O.D. Music recording artist, Big Sean, will perform in concert at the Salem Civic Center on Tuesday, April 10 at 8 p.m. Roanoke College's Campus Activities Board is sponsoring the concert, which is open to the public.
Sean got his big music break in 2005 when he met rapper and record producer, Kanye West, while performing on a local radio station in Detroit. A few months and several meetings later, West signed the young artist, whose real name is Sean Anderson. In June 2011, Big Sean released his debut album, "Finally Famous."

Roanoke's Campus Activities Board has hosted such past performers as John Mayer, Blues Traveler, Kellie Pickler and G.O.O.D. Music's founder, Kanye West.
