SALEM, Va.-Submissions of all media for a juried art exhibition in Roanoke College's Olin Gallery are now being accepted. Works should be hand-delivered to the Olin Gallery on Fri., March 9 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. or Sat. and Sun., March 10-11 from 1-4 p.m. Delivery of artwork should be made to the Olin Gallery receiving dock, located at the Thompson Memorial Boulevard entrance to Olin Hall.

Works will be juried by Ray Kass on March 12. An awards ceremony will be at 6 p.m. in Olin Gallery on Fri., March 16 with an opening reception following at 6:30 p.m. in Smoyer Gallery. Works not accepted may be picked up on March 17-18 in Olin Gallery from 1-4 p.m. and the show closes on April 13. Works of art in the show may be picked up April 13-15 during the following times: Fri. 4-6 p.m.; Sat.-Sun. 1-4 p.m.

The exhibition is open to all artists within a 100-mile radius of Roanoke College. Works must be original and executed within the past two years. A maximum of three works may be submitted by each artist. All works must be framed, wired and ready for hanging or otherwise suitably prepared for exhibition. There is an entry fee of $25 per artist. Awards will include a $500 for first prize, $300 for second prize, $100 for third prize and $50 for honorable mention.
