SALEM, VA— Roanoke College’s Office of Academic Grants and Foundation Relations will host The Grantsmanship Training Program to be held June 26-30, 2006 at Roanoke College’s Colket Center. Nonprofit organizations and government agencies will benefit from this complete training course on the grantsmanship process. Registration is limited to 30 to maximize personal attention. Tuition for this premier training program is $825 and will include a one-year membership to The Grantsmanship Center (TGCI), which includes proposal review and an array of benefits and services. Partial scholarships are available to organizations meeting certain criteria. The Grantsmanship Training Program is an intensive, “hands-on” workshop covering all aspects of identifying grant sources, writing grant proposals, and negotiating with funding sources. It is designed for both novice and advanced grantseekers. The Grantsmanship Center (TGCI) is the world’s oldest and largest grantsmanship training organization for nonprofit organizations. It was founded in 1972 and has trained more than 80,000 staff members of public and private agencies.
