SALEM, Va.-A joint music recital will be held at Roanoke College Sunday, April 17 at 4 p.m. in the Olin Recital Hall. The public is invited to attend at no charge.

Roanoke College senior music major Bryan Gibson will present his senior project in composition. Works include a trio for violin, cello and piano, a work for jazz quintet, and an arrangement for a small choir. All works feature performances by Roanoke College students. Gibson is from Roanoke and is a graduate of Franklin County High School.

Stephanie Miller, mezzo-soprano and piano, presents her senior project in music, comprised of both a vocal and piano portion. Featured composers during the vocal part will be

Handel, Debussy and Quilter. The piano portion features music by Beethoven, Debussy and Gershwin. She is a resident of Salem and a graduate of Glenvar High School.
