It is the first time since the 2007 season that both teams made the NCAA tournament. Both teams have accumulated a combined 33 wins, which is arguably the most successful year for Roanoke lacrosse. The women's team is currently ranked #17 in the IWLCA Div. III Top-20 poll and the men's team, which has been ranked as the #1 team in the nation in the same poll over the past three weeks, earned an at-large bid as the #2 overall seed and a first-round bye. It was the first at-large bid for the program since 2005.
