Patricia LeDonne appointed Director of Admissions at Roanoke College
SALEM, Va. - Patricia N. LeDonne has been appointed Director of Admissions at Roanoke College. She spent ten years as Randolph College's Director of Admissions, where she developed a comprehensive program for all recruitment efforts during Randolph College's transition from an all-female status to a coeducational college.
After leaving Randolph College, LeDonne became the Director of Admissions and Development and Director of Enrollment and Marketing at Holy Cross Regional Catholic School in 2008.
She prepared a plan to improve the school's financial situation and also developed and fostered relationships with local early learning centers, real estate agents, churches and schools. LeDonne worked closely with the Parent Teacher Association and the School Board to establish committees regarding recruitment, marketing, retention and fundraising.
LeDonne developed and implemented a student tour guide/host program and developed a Summer Day Care program and numerous summer camps. She also served as advisor to international students and worked with the School Advisory Board and Finance Council on implementing retention and recruitment projects.
LeDonne is a member of the Council of Independent Colleges of Virginia (CICV) and has chaired several committees.
In her new Roanoke role, "Pat adds years of experience to an already strong recruitment team at Roanoke," said Brenda Poggendorf, the college's vice president for enrollment and dean of admissions and financial aid. "We are delighted to welcome her and believe her leadership will help Roanoke further accelerate the attainment of our enrollment goals."
