SALEM, Va.-An a cappella fall concert, featuring Roanoke College's Looking for an Echo and Mainstreet, will be held Monday, November 22, at 8:30 p.m. in the Colket Center Wortmann Ballroom on the Roanoke College campus. Looking for an Echo began in 1996 when eight male members of the Roanoke College Choir formed the group. Looking for an Echo has released three albums, Looking for an Echo (1997), Odd or Even (2000) and Maybe You Didn't Hear Us…(2003). The group hosts the annual A Cappella Carnivella to raise money for Habitat for Humanity. Looking for an Echo performs on campus and in the Roanoke Valley and has toured outside the area for college events and student recruitment.
Mainstreet, an all-female a cappella group, was formed in 1998 and performs at college events and at the annual A Cappella Carnivella.
