Roanoke College launches new online experts directory
SALEM, Va. - Roanoke College's faculty members are now more accessible than ever. The College is launching an online directory at www.roanoke.edu/experts to help the media be in touch with experts in many areas of interest.
Reporters will find this resource useful when looking for an expert in any number of fields. Timely examples include Dr. Todd Peppers, who is an expert on the Supreme Court and Dr. Harry Wilson, a well-known commentator on political and gun rights issues. Other topics range from fitness and nutrition to state politics and nanotechnology, even Queen Elizabeth and contemporary film.
Community groups can consult pages for information on faculty who are interested in speaking to groups and organizations. A list near the bottom of each expert profile indicates if the person is open to requests for presentations and on what topics.
Individual profiles include contact information, but the public relations office is available to help facilitate communications. The office can be reached at (540) 375-2242.
