Theatre Roanoke College Presents Spring Production
Expecting Isabel, written by Lisa Loomer, is a tragicomedy about the adventures of a New York couple trying to have a baby-by any means necessary. Their difficulties conceiving lead them on an Alice in Wonderland-esque odyssey through the baby business as they negotiate the fertility trade, the adoption industry and their own families. Expecting Isabel is an intriguing and deeply affecting story that "uses laughter to soothe the ache of infertility," says the L.A. Times.
