Theatre Roanoke College presents the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Dinner With Friends on Wednesday-Saturday, February 21-24 at 8 p.m. in the Olin Theater. Dinner With Friends, written by Donald Margulies and directed by Dr. Lisa Warren, is a comedy-drama of manners for adults. It will be performed in a three-quarter round with limited seating. The play won the 2000 Pulitzer Prize for drama, and the San Francisco Examiner calls it "a breezy comedy of modern manners that turns poignant and deeply affecting by its end."
The cast includes Cory Lawson, a junior theater major from Roanoke; Lindsay Anderson, a senior theater major from Norfolk; Haley Thomsen, a freshman from Tunbridge, Vt.; and R.J. Warren, a senior history major from Covington.
The stage set and lights are designed by George Arthur, teaching associate. Costumes are by Jennie Ruhland, teaching associate.
