Assistant Director of Student Activities/Director of Greek Life
Lynsy obtained her bachelors degree in Accounting from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. While an undergraduate she was initiated into the Zeta Eta chapter of Alpha Chi Omega. Her involvement with her sorority has forever changed her life for the better. After graduation she worked as an accountant while serving as the recruitment advisor for her chapter. In 2009, she was asked to step in as Chapter Advisor. It was then she realized her passion for working with college-aged students and decided to attend graduate school.
Lynsy received her Masters of Education from Marquette University in Educational Policy and Leadership with a focus in College Student Personnel Administration. At Marquette she worked as the Graduate Assistant for Student Organizations and Leadership and interned in the Office of International Education serving as a Study Abroad Coordinator. She also spent a semester interning in the Student Activities Center at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee specifically working with Greek life, assessment, and union programming.
Her current role at Roanoke College includes four major functions: Director of Greek Life, Student Organizations, Leadership Development Programs, and primary administrator for RC Engage website. She currently serves as the primary advisor for Roanoke's Interfraternity Council. She also currently serves as a national volunteer for Alpha Chi Omega as a recruitment specialist and is a member of the Association of Fraternity and Sorority Advisors.
Area Coordinator/Assistant Director of Greek Life
Kody obtained both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership at the University of North Dakota. During his undergraduate career, Kody was a member of the Varsity Bards (all men's choir), Habitat for Humanity, and became an initiated member of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity (DU). While in DU, Kody held multiple chair positions and two executive positions, VP of External Relations and President. During his master's program, Kody worked in the Dean of Students Office handling crises response and the Student Involvement Office working with leadership development and programming. Kody also continued to work with his chapter as the alumni advisor to the VP of Academic Excellence and served as the alumni house manager. Kody is a NASPA Region 4W Graduate Rising Star recipient, a member of the Association of Fraternity and Sorority Advisors, an advocate of coloring, snow lover, and MN Vikings fan... Skol Vikings!
His role at Roanoke College is divided between two major responsibilities: residence life and Greek life. He oversees the Greek residences and apartments and lives in Elizabeth Hall up on the Elizabeth Campus. Kody serves as the primary advisor for Panhellenic Council and the Order of Omega.
