NicaraguaSpring Break - Every spring break, Jesse takes a group of students to Finca Magdalena to help with renovation projects in a small town. This nine day experience combines days of hard work engaging in a community development project in one the of the poorest villages in southern Nicaragua with a number of cultural immersion experiences throughout the week. The work days will be broken up with two days of ecotourism, visiting remote Pacific coast beaches and volcanic cloud forests. Participants will experience everyday living “Nica Style” as they live in small groups within the homes of families in the Ochomogo community. Work your tail off, dance your booty off, eat cool tropical fruits from the tree and roast your own cup of coffee |
