Overview:
The Roanoke College Counseling Center is designed to meet the needs of the college community with compassion and honesty. The Counseling Center provides counseling and consultation to Roanoke College students, faculty and staff.

Appointments are scheduled based on counselor availability.To schedule an appointment, please contact Kathy Russo at 375-2302.

Services are free of charge.
Confidentiality:
All information you share during your counseling sessions is confidential.In some circumstances your counselor may consult with other counselors at the Counseling Center in order to provide you with the best help available. However, no one outside the Center may have access to the specifics of your counseling sessions without your prior written permission, except in cases of medical emergency or other situations where the Counselor, in the exercise of his/her judgment, deems release of such information necessary or advisable.The law in the State of Virginia mandates that information may be appropriately shared if you are in imminent harm to yourself or to others, when there is an indication of child or elder abuse, or as required by a court of law. Further, The Counseling Center's clerical support staff will be aware of your visits and records but they are also committed to maintaining your confidentiality.

We strive to help students realize and develop the fullness of their lives by providing them with a means to more fully understand themselves and navigate the complexities of life in college.
