Mission

 

 

The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) was established in 2000. Its main objective is to continue to improve the overall quality of life for students of multicultural backgrounds on our campus by developing and implementing educational, cultural, and social programs. With a more welcoming and comforting environment, students will exceed academically and socially. Roanoke College and OMA's goal is in recruiting, retaining, and graduating a more diverse community of students.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs is a department of Student Affairs and works collaboratively with Student Affairs, Office of Admissions, Academic Services, Financial Aid, and Residence Life to meet the academic, social, and personal needs of students.
