Description of the Symbol

 

 

  • The rainbow in the background symbolizes how Roanoke College celebrates and promotes the LGBTQ community on campus.
  • The sun rising symbolizes Roanoke College's continual growth at promoting it.
  • The building in the front is a representation of the Administration building. The Administration building is the most recognizable symbol of Roanoke College.
  • The doors of the Administration building are open to signify how Roanoke College is welcoming to LGBTQ students and has a desire to make the campus a safer environment for them and their allies.
