Catawba Hall History:
Catawba Hall was built in the mid-1960s and designed to house a male fraternity. The residence hall underwent extensive renovations in the summer of 1998 and currently houses approximately 40 residents, both male and female.

Catawba is home to Roanoke College's Global Village Living Learning Community. International exchange students and American students are paired together for a truly unique learning experience. International students come from all over the world - England, Spain, Myanmar, Georgia, Pakistan and more!  Freshmen are very welcome to live in Catawba as part of this community. Catawba Hall has a porch complete with rocking chairs and grill and a newly renovated common area with a ping-pong table, foosball table and big-screen tv.
