Dining Services Statement of Purpose

We, the Dining Services Department, are dedicated to serving a variety of menus, created by research and imagination and presented attractively. We are committed to serving the best tasting, most nutritious, and finest quality cuisine in a timely, efficient, friendly and sanitary manner. Our goal is to provide an enjoyable dining experience for every customer at each meal in an attractive, well maintained environment, staffed by trained and customer oriented personnel.

Meal Plan

Roanoke College Dining Service is self-operated and proud to provide your culinary experiences at meals and campus events. Meals can be eaten in the Sutton Commons or in The Cavern, our "grab and go" establishment. Flexible hours have been designed to accommodate your busy schedules.

Upper class residential students will have the choice of 2 Meal Plans. Freshman residential students will be required to have the 19 Meal Per Week Plan. The Meal Plan options are:

14 Meal Per Week Plan	19 Meal Per Week Plan
$2,042.50 per semester	$2,472.50 per semester
Any or all of the meals may be eaten in either the Cavern* or Commons	Any or all of the meals may be eaten in either the Cavern* or Commons
Unused meals will roll from week to week	Unused meals will roll from week to week
2 guest passes per semester	3 guest passes per semester
