Greek Life
The Greek community, serving the men and women of Roanoke College, is as strong as it has ever been and is continually improving. There are four nationally recognized fraternities on the Roanoke College campus: Sigma Chi, Kappa Alpha, Pi Kappa Alpha, Pi Kappa Phi and five sororities: Alpha Sigma Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Chi Omega, Delta Gamma, and Phi Mu.
Men's Fraternities
The Interfraternity Council is the governing body for the men's social greek organizations. IFC is responsible for organizing and conducting the annual rush events.

A men's national social fraternity, Xi chapter was formed in 1916 and re-chartered in 2005. Member of the Roanoke College Interfraternity Council. - Sigma Chi (Tau Chapter) - sigmachi@roanoke.edu
A men's national social fraternity, Tau Chapter was formed in 1872 and revived in 1923. Member of the Roanoke College Interfraternity Council.
Women's Fraternities (Sororities)
The Panhellenic Council is the governing council for the women's fraternities. Each fraternity is represented on the council by three delegates. Panhellenic Council is a member organization of the Student Government Association.
