Students Assistants

Students have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience on campus as a student assistant. There are many offices across campus that hire students year round to assist them.  Some offices that have regular positions available are Public Relations, Admissions, the Business Office, the Bookstore, the President's office, the Dean's Office, academic departments and Information Technology, among many others.

Examples of student assistant jobs include: tour guide for the admissions office, tech crew for the Colket Student Center, programmer for IT, writer for public relations, etc.

Student assistant positions can count as credit for internships in some cases -  students would need to work out the details with their professors.
