At Roanoke College, we have over 100 organizations, a wide range of religious groups, and hundreds of events, outdoor adventures, lectures and service opportunities.With so many outlets available to students, we can definitely say that there's something for everyone here. But if you can't find exactly what you're looking for, there's always room for more. Roanoke is happy to give you the opportunity to share your interests with fellow students.

Academic Organizations
Broaden your academic horizons with one of many academic organizations and honor societies.
Multicultural Organizations
Several organizations exist at Roanoke College to meet the academic, social and personal needs of our students from many cultures and backgrounds. The university supports these organizations and their mission of promoting cultural enrichment and growth throughout the community.
Service Organizations
Anyone affiliated with the college can find an outlet to serve the community. From service projects to environmental awareness, you can volunteer your time with a cause that matters to you.
Greek Life
The Greek community at Roanoke College continues to provide social and service opportunities for the men and women of Roanoke College.There are currently four nationally recognized fraternities and five sororities on campus.
Religious Organizations
Roanoke College offers organizations for students of many faiths to enjoy fellowship and explore their beliefs. We also sponsor YoungLife, which gives students the opportunity to work with local teens and them grow in their faith.
Intramural Sports & Recreation
Many opportunities exist for students to compete in a wide range of sports. The playing field can be a great place to build lasting friendships, as well as stay in shape.
Leadership & Governance
Leadership skills will be valuable after you graduate. There are several opportunities to begin developing them at Roanoke College. From helping to plan dorm activities to running for president of the Student Government Association, the experience you gain now will benefit you later.
Performing Arts
Roanoke College offers men's and women's vocal ensembles of many styles, theatre productions and a concert band. Students are always encouraged to audition and take part.
Publications & Media Organizations
Whether you want to be on-air or involved with publishing one of the college's many student publications, we've got you covered. The entire staff of our newspaper, Brackety-Ack, is composed of students. Likewise, the campus literary magazine, On Concept's Edge, and our yearbook, Rawenoch, are also student led. WRKE "The Wreck" is our student organized radio station.
