Your Gift Makes A Difference
"Roanoke College prepared me both for my career and to act as a citizen in my community. The connections I made at Roanoke College are invaluable and I am proud to help carry on this tradition into the future!"
- Natalie L. Gessert '03
There's been considerable debate on a symbol to recognize a Maroon, but no clear consensus has arisen.
One thing that everyone can agree on, however, is the importance of The Roanoke Fund to continue to keep our College strong.
The Roanoke Fund addresses immediate and often critical needs. Last year 27% of Roanoke College alumni participated in our annual giving campaign, which fell short of our participation goal of 34%. Our goal this year is 31%. While we appreciate the alumni who have supported us faithfully and generously, we're asking all alumni to consider a gift, regardless of the size.
Regardless of the size of your gift, it shows that you know what it means to be a Maroon. Show your support and send your gift in today.

Roanoke College's Greatest Needs
The Roanoke Fund
The Roanoke Fund is the annual fund-raising initiative generously supported by alumni, parents and friends of the College. Funds received strengthen academic programs and enhance student life by providing resources for the College's most critical needs -- the maintenance of the campus infrastructure as well as scholarships for students; equipment for athletic teams and books for the library; student research projects and technology in the classrooms. It also helps recruit and retain our renowned faculty.
Recent Online Donors:
We are deeply grateful for your support of Roanoke College during the 2008-2009 fiscal year.
Generous people like you are the reason we're able to provide financial assistance to deserving students, recruit and retain top faculty, bring the latest technology to labs and classrooms and ensure the traditional Roanoke quality of life for students.
