Keynote Speakers:
John Almarode, Ph. D.
Dr. Almarode, a former high school math and science teacher in Virginia Public Schools, is currently an assistant professor of education at James Madison University. There he works with pre-service and in-service teachers, pursuing his research in educational neuroscience, the design and measurement of classroom environments, and STEM disciplines.
Eric Jensen, Ph. D.
Dr. Jensen was a middle school English teacher in San Diego, CA and is currently a trainer and consultant for brain-based learning. Eric has authored over 30 books, one of his most recent being Engaging Students with Poverty in Mind: Practical Strategies for Raising Achievement.
